1. Using the ‘environment’ to either reflect and/or flag natural daylight.
When photographing a wedding, i took advantage of the situation and done this daylight photograph. the light came in from a large window at the left hand side of the frame. i used the white mantle piece, the white dress and the mirror above the mantle piece to my advantage and used them to bounce light back into the brides face and create a sparkly catch light in her eyes. I liked the fact that it also made her bracelet stand out and sparkle in the light.
